The NSCA Foundation is delighted to launch in partnership with Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) the No Time To Lose campaign in Australia. No Time To Lose (NTTL) aims to increase global awareness of occupational cancers. Occupational cancers are caused by exposure to cancer causing agents (carcinogens) in the workplace.

Research indicates that occupational cancers claims at least 742,000 lives a year worldwide. In Australia, it is estimated there are over 5000 new cases of cancer caused by workplace exposure to carcinogens each year.

To help businesses take action against occupational cancers, NTTL is providing practical resources about carcinogens in the workplace. In partnership with IOSH, we're pleased to provide free resources with Australian statistics for asbestossilica dustsolar radiation and diesel engine exhaust emissions

We encourage our Australian work health and safety community to join us in tackling occupational cancers. You can pledge to take action in your workplace and/or become a supporter. Visit the No Time to Lose website to get invovled.
