Running a Safe Club – Updated Interactive Guide For Club Managers

Friday 22, Jan 2021

Pro-Visual Publishing in conjunction with the NSCA Foundation have proudly released their latest edition of the Interactive Augmented Reality (AR) Club Managers Guide to Workplace Safety 2020/21, distributed free of charge Australia wide.

The wall-mountable Guide is designed for display year-round to communicate safety issues and hazards that Club Managers may be faced with on a daily basis. Staying up to date with such information and implementing regular training and meetings will help to create a zero-harm workplace.

Together Pro-Visual Publishing and their partnering Associations have carefully selected topics that address key safety issues which include:

  • Fatigue Management.
  • Hierarchy of Control (HoC).
  • Dealing with Intoxicated Patrons.
  • Temperature Control – Food, Fridges & Display Units.

The digital feature of AR aims to enhance engagement and offers an aspect of interactivity that makes learning easy and enjoyable with a phone or tablet during training sessions, plus helps to make it a go-to piece over other print material.

By simply downloading the free Pro-Vis AR app and scanning over any AR capable content using a smart device, Club Managers can access additional resources, including three informative animations on fatigue, temperature control and the HoC.
