PCBUs duties to Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Tuesday 17, Mar 2020

Setting risk measures in place to protect employees against exposure to the novel (new) coronavirus (COVID-19) is the responsibility for the person conducting a business or undertaking (PCBU).

To support our Australian WHS/OHS community, businesses and organisations, we are providing an information web page on the coronavirus.

Additionally, we have a member only webinar facilitated by Julian Wandres, Occupational Hygienist at Anitech. The webinar “Coronavirus Outbreak - How to Manage the Impact of Viruses in the Workplace” will discuss the lessons learned from current viral outbreaks to take actionable steps towards safeguarding the health of our employees. Members can register to participate in the webinar. Non-members can contact our Membership Team to enquire about membership at membership@nsca.org.au.

In these uncertain and stressful times, mental health is a concern as well as many other factors that influence business and organisational operations. NSCA Foundation will endeavour to support our community the best we possibly can through resources and webinars.

Meanwhile, please find below resources you can contact or review for mental health support:
