NSCA Foundation Webinar Series

CSIRO has nominated that ‘rising work stress and mental health issues’ will be a mega risk for the next 20 years – and that was before the pandemic. According to Beyond Blue research, 91% of us want to work in a mentally healthy culture, but only 52% believe we do. Building a culture of care and mental health requires building your workplace’s will and skill.

In this practical webinar you will learn:

  • The #1 critical success factor for building a mentally healthy culture
  • A checklist for before, during, and post mental health promotion
  • How to build momentum for the next year – and beyond
  • How to scale the reach and impact across the organisation

Meet the Facilitator

Graeme Cowan, Managing Director, Graeme Cowan Enterprises

Graeme Cowan helps busy leaders build more caring and resilient teams, who enjoy growing together. In his earlier career he worked in senior leadership positions with Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, and AT Kearney.

In 2000 he went through a 5 year episode of depression that his psychiatrist described as the worst he had ever treated. He emerged from this crisis with a different view about how we can increase our resilience, mood, and performance. He is described by the Australian Financial Review as a “workplace resilience expert”.

He is the author of 4 books, including the internationally acclaimed BACK FROM THE BRINK, which has a testimonial from the former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, and which has become a best seller in China. He is also the Co-Founder of FactorC, which creates scalable training to build mentally healthy workplaces. Graeme also helped Gavin Larkin to start R U OK? in 2009, and remains an active Board Director.
